I recently found that my sister was into this kind of stuff when I borrowed her laptop. At first, I was like “huh, what is this BL anime. Might as well watch it anyway.” To my surprise, it literary means Boy Love when searching It on the internet. In this blog, I will try to review the entire bl anime out there. This is my comments and reactions on this type of stuff, but first, we should need to know the full detail on what is a BL anime or Boys Love anime.
What is BL anime
It is a yaoi anime. It is a type of anime genre that revolves around strong male archetypes with another weak male archetype on their relationship with each other. The two of them have some kind of somewhat interesting relationship with each other. It is really the definition of Boys Love. Boys have love literature. Having love with the opposite sex is a no, no however having romantic tension and blushing over your senpai is yes, yes. This is the feel of the show and catering to the female demographic of weebs out there. It is basically gay.
My Reaction
When first saw this type of genre in anime, I was clearly in shock. One thing that this type of anime is different from any other type of anime out there is that it doesn’t care about whether it is the animation that is broadcasting on television or the internet. The fact that the studio of this type of genre doesn’t hide all the interesting details of the romantic relationship between the boys. There are sex scenes in this type of genre, even though it is censored however most of the stuff happening will make your imagination run wild while watching this type of anime genre.
The Good
In my personal opinion, it is really good to know that there are these types of genres. This means that the anime community is really vast and wild. Knowing that the anime community is wild and vast kinda indicates that it is really a fun community to be with. A community that the people surrounding on it is really creative on the thing that they are doing and not afraid to try stuff using their creativity. However,
The Bad
I am not against gay people and they can do whatever they want as far as I am concerned. In fact, I love these types of people and I have a friend that with these types of characteristics. I do not hate them and they are fun to be with, with their energy, optimism, and humor. As long as Gay people don’t do sexual acts with their fellow men, I pretty much approve of them being gay. However
Some things should not be in this world. Evil things. Example of this, running naked in public. Another example of this, vandalizing your neighbor's wall. More example of bad things is stealing stuff. Murdering, Pedophilia, Necrophilia, watching gay porn and etc. There are things in this world that are simple should not exist. Evil doings should not be tolerated. Although it is not bad to tolerate this kind of stuff, however, this type of stuff is really evil and people should not give attention to it. People should not support this type of stuff because when people support this type of stuff the world will be in chaos.
Watching this type of genre in anime is really creative and fun, however, it is morally wrong. In my personal opinion.
