What is the appeal of the show?
In my opinion, the show is trying to capture the feeling of opening up a store or starting up a capitalist endeavor. It's trying to appeal to people who want to have a business in real life and maybe walk us through the different nuances of going into this route.

The show is giving a vibe that encourages you to open a store

In my opinion, they quite do the job right when making this anime. The thought that they are trying to make the feelings and fantasies of opening up a store is a good thing in my opinion.
Capitalism elements are being thrown everywhere

Of course, the capitalist element is thrown everywhere since the title itself saying it was a drug store. And since drug stores and selling are capitalist elements. They are selling potions to people in this world, this potion is useful to their daily lives. It cures decease and heals the sick, which turns to be useful in this world they are living in. In every corner of the show, you will see the element of selling and marketing.
The value of knowledge

There is one scene on the show where the knowledge paid our protagonist more money than he could have just because he has the knowledge that no other person has in that world. Our protagonist in this episode made a tea to his female customer who has an anxiety attack and nervous breakdown. When our protagonist prescribes her a unique liquid that enables her to cure that “evil spirit” is what they called it to their word. He healed her using the power of tea. Because of that, he was paid by a rich man who was the husband of that woman, plenty of money because of that. This shows that if you have useful knowledge someone will pay you for that knowledge if it's useful enough.
This anime is pretty okay, I guess.
It’s not hype, it average and mid
If you want a relaxed anime to watch this season, this one is recommended. I enjoyed it a little. 7 out of 10
