this anime really hits the stop when comes to the animation, the story, the characters, and the setting. the animation really can compete with all other good shows out there. If you think the animation of the current seasonal shows are mid, then drop them and watch Vanitas. the plot really can hold and you won't be bored by the amount of things happening on this show. the constant development of plot really can hook and grab your attention. You will press the next episode in anticipation since the plot made the slow parts bearable. You will have a nice time watching the show since it will not disappoint you.

it was a show about vampires and how they are living on a society that considered them demons and low life creatures. even though the war between humans and vampires in this world somewhat of a not too long ago even on the plot. Since I won't be discussing the topic on this paragraph, I will first explain the plot and world building first,in case that you did not watch the show first. to make the Long story short, both human and vampires is living on a peaceful world while there are no grudges in terms of politics. However there are still a little racism left in the hearts of the charathers in this show. That's is why, the hero of the show somewhat is the one that probably will bring the two worlds closer. the hero is vanitas.
vanitas's hero archetype
the hero archetype of the show really enhances the plot of the series. even though, the hero is somewhat unpredictable since he is somewhat a mysterious character with dark past in it. The show doesn't give him inner monologue, which is pretty interesting. the author does want to make Vanitas to be filled with mysteriousness in this show. that part, in my opinion, is a good decision that the show made. Making a character some what mysterious make a story interesting. Interesting characters are the spice of the series. Even though Vanitas, isn't a perfect character since have plenty of flaws, however His character archetype is pretty interesting.
He is somewhat energetic, funny yet romantic character. He oftentimes is the center of the punchline. He made the show somewhat cool whenever his energy is shown on the screen. He also a romantic person. Man, when his romantic interest shows up and he kissed her at there first meeting. Man, that's hilarious and romantic. Vanitas is also cool in fight scenes. Whenever he open his book, it somewhat made his cool points increase. The fact that he is different from other beings surrounding him, is somewhat interesting. Vanitas is an interesting character.
His hero archetype is shown all over the place. Whenever he turns the sanity of rogue vampires to normal is really what is a hero does. The heroes saves the enemy and make them to be on there side. The fact that he often times mention "I want to save all vampires" is really what the hero character archetype is. Hero saves people. The hero in Christian sense is the missaya. saving the lost and bringing them to the light side, that basically what Jesus Christ is from the Christian point of view. Vanitas has elevated himself to be equal with Jesus Christ. Vanitas has elevated himself to be a savior of the people, I think it is pretty interesting.
