An Opinion On Kaoruko And The Beach Episode - Pride Of Orange - Episode 7 review

This is probably the beach episode of the show since on this episode the girls play volleyball and stuff on the beach. These girls are very attractive in this anime because they probably do a lot of workouts to get those figures. Or probably because this is anime. Anywho, this is my review on the beach episode of the show.

Kaorun and being the pillar of the group

When the coach of the team somewhat gets them some advice. One of them where Kaorun's weakness as a shy and soft-spoken person. Kaorun is one of those folks who is a very girly girl and a soft-spoken conservative type of person. The coach notices this thing and gives her advice about improving the way she uses her voice to improve her communication skill towards their team. Kaorun basically will destroy her personality of being a soft-spoken conservative person to become a leader and the pillar of the team. In all honesty, that’s a character development out there. Character development is one of the good things that make a story great in my opinion if done right. In this episode, Kaorun is trying to make a way out of the shy and conservative personality. Kaorun’s character development will her improve herself in communication and become the pillar of their group as a goalie

Kaorun is a follower, not a leader

We see in this episode the personality of kaoruns is some kind of a follower, not a leader. We see her struggle in this episode because she wants to become the pillar of the group. Kaorun is always following manaka and Ayaka from the back every since there were little kids. Kaorun's always there on the back following them and the thought of this makes kaoruns sad because she thought that being in front and not being a pillar is all about leading the team. In the end, manaka proves this mindset of things wrong by telling Kaorun that manaka is always able to do whatever she wants because Kaorun is always there looking at them from the back ever since they were little kids. Manaka’s only wish is for Kaorun to say that she is always there on the back. Kaorun is okay with what she is however she only needs to improve her communication skill and tells manaka that she will always be there to catch them when they fall. I think this is very symbolic of them playing as the goalie as an ice hockey player. The way Kaorun positions as a goalie who is always on the back looking for the team.

The girls enjoying themselves on the beach

If you watched the episode, the girls are only good to Okinawa because there have some kind of part-time job in there thanks to Manaka's grandma that have some contacts in that place. It was pretty fascinating to see the girls have enough energy on having fun on the beach while having part-time jobs on the sidelines. The way these girls have fun is admirable. I also want to go to Okinawa and play volleyball in all honesty. What these girls doing makes me want to go to Okinawa. At the end of it all, it is a nice beach episode because the girls are having fun on it.

Overall it is somewhat of a nice episode because Kaorun as a goalie become the pillar of the group and improved her communication skills. This is also the beach episode of the show.
