Pride of orange episode 2 review

Writer's picture: VARY YamiVARY Yami

This is my review of the series called the pride of orange anime that came out this winter 2021. I am new to this kind of genre and I wanted to come be part of it that is why I am making this anime review of it. For those of you who don't know what is pruraore, it's an anime about a group of girls that wants to become the best ice skaters because one they probably saw on a brochure or something, Plus they probably became some sort of ice skating idol on this anime. All of this is somewhat new to anime because there is no other ice skating anime released yet so, it is cool I guess.

The two coaches interaction

There this two coaches on this anime. One of them is a female coach who seems to always be on high because of the amount of positivity she has on her body every time she was on screen. The other coach is a male who seems to be the sound of reason between the two of them. He is the quality control of the other chaotic coach. He always mumbles and will have these inner monologues when the female coach does planning something out of the blue and weird.

Amongst all of the characters, in my opinion, the two of them were the most interesting thing that happens in this anime. They are the breath of fresh air on the usual interaction between the other character. Their interaction made this series watchable because they are the wacky and comic relief on the show. I like their dynamic amongst all the characters on the show. I like the high-spirited female coach match with a down-to-earth reality go-to guy as her partner. These two types of character troupe actually are somewhat relatable in real life as well. If you have some sort of this high-spirited friend doing all sorts of weird and crazy things and you there be the quality control and the voice of logic. This is somewhat, at least for me, a relatable character that is refreshing in the eyes to see.

They got to a tv program with a shady looking guy

The girls on the anime somewhat got into a tv program with the help of some strangers they meet filming their village. They are some sort of film dude who probably likes to film stuff as a job. There are from a television program that probably airing on a television station on this anime. For some reason they ended up filming the village the girls are leaving in. they filmed the good scenes from the village with the girls. And then this dude invited the girls to film with them for some reason, luckily, that didn't happen because the girls have other things to do on their spear time. Luckily this is an ice hockey anime not some sort of another sort of anime.

I don’t know about you but my mind is running in all sorts of directions when watching this anime. When watching this scene when this stranger cameraman invited the girls to go film with them. My mind got to a dark forest full of unidentified creatures walking on it and trying to destroy me. It is in my opinion a creepy thing to ask with the girls on the anime. Why do some stranger dudes want to invite the girls to do a film with them? Is this some sort of metaphor or something about the idol industry as a whole? I don’t know, I am not part of the Japanese idol industry to tell that this sort of thing happening on it. Or probably my mind is just running wild all over the place when seeing this anime.

The ending song of the anime

This episode is probably the first episode where the anime releases its first ending song on the series. The ending song started with some sort of autumny vibes to it. It has the leave of a tree that was in a Canadian flag on the ending song all over the place. I like the vibe on the ending song, it is a very nostalgic vibe on it. The ending song is cool, in my opinion.

This is a good episode in my opinion because of the things that are happening on it. I like the two coaches' dynamic together. Even though my mind is running wild when the stranger camera dude invited the girls to go film with them or maybe it's just my mind running wild. At the end of it all, I found it a rather good episode if I won’t let my mind run wild.
