Selection project episode 6

This is my review on selection project episode 6. This is just my opinion on the show and the way the studio delivers the show. These are just the things that came out of my head when watching the episode. I pretty much like the concept of the show because it is an idol anime about people who wants to become an idol in Japan. It sounds cheesy, I know, but this theme is resonating for some reason even if it is somewhat cheesy to hear or see. Furthermore, I will make reviews on this series because I want to make and write about it.

This is the beach episode of the show

Episode 6 is probably the fan servicy, male audience capturing episode of the show. In the episode, the girls show their swimsuits one by one. All six of them show their swimsuits in the anime. They also play volleyball on this episode on a beach while the cameraman and the production team capture videos on it.

I don’t know who is the studios appealing to when they decide to make a beach episode on the show, Probably the male in the audience who probably at the age of 13. I don’t know why they are making an episode focusing on the theme of swimsuits and beaches. This is probably, in my opinion., the works of previous shows that did the same idea and got a good amount of viewership on their show, I don’t know to be honest. But if it works, it works, I guess. In all honesty, I am one of those folks who don’t like beach episodes in what I am watching. But, I don’t care if the studio makes this on their anime for those select amount of people in their audience. If they are making that for the audience so that their show probably will watch more of their series, I will support it. As long as they see that the audience likes that thing.

Suzune tells about the scar on her chest

In this episode, Suzanne tells about the scar on her chest to the girls in the group. Suzune somewhat got it because of the surgery she took when she was little and got sick. She probably got some sort of heart disease when she was little because the scar was on her chest and still visible. Her teammates somehow got some sort of sympathy for her situation when they know that a tragic thing happened in her past. Unfortunately, suzune runs outside of the meeting they are holding that time because she is probably shy about the scar or something like that.

In my personal opinion, the way suzune walked out of the meeting is kinda childish and immature in my opinion. Walking out of something as small as a scar of the past and the shyness to talk about it even there are idols, who are on camera all the time. But that just my opinion, lol.

It was a nice episode in my opinion. The beach episode is nice even though some of the drama in this one. Furthermore, so good so far.
