This type of music genre is quite underground and only a few people know this genre. However, it is quite a good genre in my opinion and most of the music is related to Japanese and weeb otaku culture. In this blog, I will try to tell the appeal of this music genre, Why most weebs are very fond of this genre.
It’s cute to hear
It's full of sine waves as its melody and it sounds cute. The musicians make this melody cute to hear and maybe the reason why most of them sounded cute. Musicians in this genre want cuteness in their life that’s why they are making cute things even to their music. I think it’s a good thing to do since most people especially in the weeb and otaku cultures like their thing cute and moe. I like how this music is very cute to hear and is appealing to people who like cute stuff.
Its very anime
It’s a combination of Japanese and western culture. Japanese, because most of the lyrics and vibe are Japanese. And Western, because of the fact that most of the melody and sounds are future bass which is a genre of electronic music that westerners loved. These two combined and weeb liking it resulting in it burst into their culture. No one really knows where this genre came from. Does it come from the west or the east? However, the most important thing is actually a new emerging genre of music and it becoming more and more mainstream. In my opinion, this genre will be mainstream in the future because it is very anime.
It’s an electronic music
Electronic music is a futuristic type of sound. It comes from the west and is loved by westerners. They play this type of music on disco bars because it making the people dance to the beat. It is quite a hyper genre of music. Kawaii future bass is a part of this genre because it has all the electronic elements on them. Even though some of the kawaii future bass music has the groove and slow music elements on them. Either way, it is part of this genre.
The appeal of this type of music is that it is good to hear and making all the weebs love it because it was electronic cute music that was very Japanese and anime.
