I recently watched the episode because I kinda liked the premise of the show about x-factor-esk elements of the show. That is why I probably watch this show to the very end just to see what will happen to the series. And I think this is Kadokawa's first idol anime stuff on their hand, so I’m pretty curious how this anime will end. Anywho, this is my thoughts on the show and my salty opinion so doesn’t take it seriously.
The rivalry thingy
I kinda get why they put rivalry them on the anime, it is to at least give some spice on an idol anime shows. It's also an integral part of the story when you have someone on the opposite side as a rival to your protagonist. However, the rivalry between two forces should only exist on other shows in my opinion. And if you put it on an idol anime the rival character will by default become some kind of tsundere. Tsundere is an annoying anime character trope to be honest if done wrong. If I see this anime trope on any character of a series, it kinda reminds me of Vegeta from dragon balls z. At the end of the day, I have to see a character development of a character on an idol show. I don’t dislike it but it makes me kinda annoyed somewhat. If she has her character development atlest, make it satisfying and that will make your audience love your series. Put some grain of salt on this, lmao.
Rena’s sister
I wasn’t surprised by the fact that the dead idol was Rena's sister. They have the same hair color and rena is joining the idol talent show. This leaves me to ask this question. Either it’s her mother or her sister that's why she is joining the idol contest. Well, at the very least it helped her somehow because she is related to her big sister. Although it's kinda sad to see that her sister died because of the incident.

The 3d insert song
I appreciate that the studio is making the dance scene in 3d. This way it is cheaper and more affordable to do it. I understand that the studio is trying to make the best that they can on the use. And the 3d animator is doing her best into making a good show. I applaud her for that. But in my opinion, the 3d animator would be better if they look for a show that has this model for references. In my opinion, the 3d animator on this series will learn a lot if she looks at the studio at the love live series. At least they put on a performance that they put their effort into it, that’s the most important thing on everything.
The show is decent because of the thing that surprises most of the audiences. The rivalry and the surprise scene are really surprising. Plus they put one 3d animated song at the end.
