It was an unexpected episode if you look at it. There are things you won’t be expecting when watching the 10th episode of the show. Things that are quite surprising and things that will be caught you of guard. Things that will maybe shock some of you watching it. It was some kind of a plot-twisting event when seeing thing episode. This is my review of what happened in this episode.
They all got disqualified
It was a plot twist you’ll never see coming. All of the girls on this anime got disqualified from the contest they were auditioning for. It was somewhat caught me off guard when watching the show because the plot of the show revolves around their auditioning to be an idol on that particular contest. And when the twist somewhat reveals that all 9 of them got disqualified because they are all stubborn is surprising. I thought that this anime called selection project is all about these girls joining and auditioning on the contest called “selection project”.
In my opinion, it is quite refreshing to know that the girls got away from the company of the selection project. I feel somewhat good knowing that the girls become independent on the cloches of a corporation's only goal is to milk on their dreams. In my personal opinion, becoming independent from the hands of some sketchy company is a good thing. I don’t say that all companies out there is some sort of creepy and sketchy corporation but there are a few idol companies that abuse their idols and their talents. When I know that the 9 of them got away from this sort of company, I somewhat feel relieved.
Never giving up
9 of them got away from the selection project but that didn’t stop them from becoming idols. They didn’t want their experience at the selection project to hinder their dreams of becoming famous and successful. These girls want to become an idol. This girls wants to become famous even though it is kinda hard knowing that no other persons or companies are backing them. They are no financiers and investors on their idol group but that didn’t stop them. They remain hopeful even though it is quite hard doing things alone. They still nurture the dream of their heart even if things aren’t in their favor. The thing didn’t go their way but that didn’t stop them from achieving their dreams. The characters on this show never give up.
Rena as a character
Amongst all the characters on the show, she is one of my personal favorites, even though on the first episodes of the show, she wasn’t a good character. But when the episode continues I kinda liked the character even more. She has this character development that is necessary for stories to be interesting. She is somewhat kinda villainous in episode 3 but then she becomes friendly each episode comes. Now, she has one of the greatest character developments compared to all girls on the show. She even has more good character developments than the main character of the show. In the 10th episode of the show, she becomes some sort of manager of their idol group. She is willing to be a part of the group and manage it.
The episode is quite shocking when we saw that all of them got disqualified but that didn’t stop them to achieve their dream of becoming an idol. With the help of rena as their manager, I know that all thing is going to work out in the end.
