Why building a new good habit is difficult

Building a habit is hard. Habits are essential to human beings because it is one of the factors that will enable us to go forward without having exerted so much energy. Whenever you do something out of habit, sometimes you don’t feel any weight because it is a habit. An example of this is when somebody exercises for so long compared to the one who exercises once every month. The one who exercises for a long time has the advantage compared to the one who exercises once a month. This is because that one who has the habit of exercising daily strengthens her muscle and endurance. In this blog, I will try to tell why it is hard to make a new habit that will enable you.




Comfort zone

Have you ever had the feeling that you don’t want to wake up in bed even though the sun is now raising? That is because of comfort zone. This is dangerous because you fall into the trap of your comfort zone. You won’t be able to do any productive work. This will turn to you not building a habit. The Comfort zone is one of the red flags that you should be aware of. And if you see this sign in your body, you need to get out of it. This is my advice because I want you to be the best that you can be.




Distractions

Television, movies, phones, and social media are a distraction. Don’t get me wrong, this type of entertainment is useful since it will give you happiness however if these things are in your life for the most of the day. This is because distractions for you to build a new habit. This distraction is caused by a chemical in our brain called “dopamine” this is basically the reward system in our brain. We as humans are naturally drawn towards the thing that feels good. Watching television, movies, etc. actually causes your brain to release these chemicals that will make you feel good when watching these shows. Just my advice to that you should be wise to manage these chemicals n your brain, once you manage your distraction chemical and turn it into useful manageable stuff, you will be unstoppable. My advice is that you should at least entertain distraction at the end of the day after all your work has been done/.




Unmotivated

Why are you building this habit in the first place? You should remember how you started and why are you doing what you are doing. You want to improve, right? You want to do something that will make yourself better somehow. These things will make me a better person mentally and physically. Working on a goal will get rid of the nihilistic way of looking in life. You need to do and build a habit so that you won’t fall into depression, anxiety, and sadness. Say no to Unmotivation and listen to stuff that will motivate you to become a better person




Building a habit is hard? Yes, because of the stuff like a comfort zone, distractions, and unmotivated. However, if you want to be better somehow and not be nihilistic. An advice from me to you is that you should at least have a goal and build a habit. This way you will become happy and fulfilled.
